From 05 to 08 October more than 193,000 game fans visited SPIEL Essen trade fair. At the world's largest consumer event for board games, 1,700 new releases and countless classics were available for testing at gaming tables throughout all four days. For the family-owned company HABA, based in Upper Franconia, the presence at Gruga was once again a resounding success, as visitors to the booth had the opportunity to test popular classics like "Funkelschatz" and "Obstgarten," in addition to the exciting new game "Sternschnuppern."
In order to continue to inspire children and families with HABA games, the in-house games editorial department is already working on the new products for the coming season. "When developing games, we work closely withwith authors and illustrators who support and accompany us on our way," explains Markus Singer, games editor at HABA: “In 2024, HABA fans can look forward to fantastic new games: Compact games will be the main focus in the coming year."
HABA's focus will remain on the toddler segment, whereby the traditional the traditional brand from Bad Rodach will in future focus more than ever on its own its own brand essence. Longstanding experience and expertise in wood are successfully combined in this effort.
